Job summary

Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks energetic Museum Interactors for part-time roles in a dynamic setting spanning art and science exhibits.

You’ll guide guests, lead hands-on activities, and support engaging demonstrations across the Kirby Science Discovery Center, Visual Arts Center, CineDome, and Planetarium. The role emphasizes customer service, education, and team collaboration in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Interest or experience in education, science, art, STEM, or performance is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to be on your feet, move around the museum, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Are you ready for an adventure in art, science, and fun? The Washington Pavilion is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and playful professionals to join our team as Museum Interactors! If you love engaging with people, sparking curiosity, and making every visit an unforgettable experience, this is the perfect job for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Guide guests through the Kirby Science Discovery Center & Visual Arts Center, bringing exhibits to life!
• Be the face of the Pavilion—engage, educate, and entertain visitors of all ages.
• Lead hands‑on activities, exciting demonstrations, and interactive tours that inspire curiosity.
• Work with the CineDome & Planetarium—take tickets, assist audiences, and help ensure an out‑of‑this‑world experience.
• Become Radley Rex’s trusted handler and be part of special events, field trips, and private parties!

What We’re Looking For:

• Fun, outgoing, and energetic personality—someone who can bring science and art to life!
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Interest or experience in education, science, art, STEM, or performance is a plus!
