Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Team Member to provide outstanding customer service, stock and merchandise displays, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean, organized store environment to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will follow merchandising guidelines, assist in self-checkout, rotate stock, and support daily store operations while upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Reading and following diagrams and safety rules.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of planograms and merchandising guidelines.
• Ability to handle cash.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use cash register.
• Ability to stock and display merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise displays and recover merchandise to maximize sales.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
• Operate cash register(s) and assist self-checkout at multiple terminals.
• Assist customers with merchandise and provide excellent service.
• Rotate product to eye-catching displays per guidelines.
• Clean store, restock, and reset displays as needed.
