Job summary

Höganäs in North America is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to work initially at our Johnstown, PA plant with future intent to work from home. This role processes customer inquiries, orders, complaints, and general questions, coordinating with customers on lead times and product availability.

Responsibilities include supporting production planning, monitoring late shipments, and coordinating with Shipping, Receiving, and Quality Control to ensure accurate documentation and timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three years work experience in sales or related field.
• Manufacturing and shipping knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Answers customer inquiries and general questions.
• Works with Account Managers to handle customer issues and customer complaints.
• Assists manufacturing with production planning through communication with customers regarding future material needs, product availability, and forecasts.
• Monitors late shipments for the Vice President, Supply Chain.
• Coordinates early shipment authorizations to ensure customer orders meet delivery schedules.
• Communicates with Shipping, Receiving, and Quality Control to coordinate information needed for orders.
• Records and processes customer shipping documentation.
• Maintains a safe working environment for themselves and others.
• Actively exhibits leadership capabilities in all aspects of their work.
• Displays conscious awareness of what is required to ensure a sustainable Höganäs.
