About the Position

Höganäs in North America is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to work initially at our Johnstown, PA plant with future intent to work from home. The position is responsible to process customer inquiries, orders, complaints, and general questions and concerns. Coordinates with customers on lead times and product availability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers on lead times and product availability.
• Answer customer inquiries and general questions.
• Work with Accounts Managers to handle customer issues and customer complaints.
• Assist manufacturing with production planning through communication with our customers regarding future material needs, product availability, and forecasts.
• Monitor late shipments for the Vice President, Supply Chain.
• Coordinate early shipment authorisations to ensure customer orders meet delivery schedules.
• Communicate with Shipping, Receiving, and Quality Control to coordinate information needed for orders.
• Record and process customer shipping documentation.
• Maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others.
• Actively exhibit leadership capabilities in all aspects of their work.
• Display conscious awareness of what is required to ensure a sustainable Höganäs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree with a minimum of three years work experience in sales or a related field.
• Manufacturing and shipping knowledge is preferred.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
