Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Logistics Customer Service Representative for a growing, locally owned client in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience with customer service, order management, accounts receivable/payable processes, and Sage 50. • Pay: $23-$27 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm
• Location: Knoxville, TN (On-Site)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order updates, and account-related requests
• Support the sales team by coordinating customer orders and ensuring a seamless order fulfillment process
• Manage the full order lifecycle, including order entry, purchase order creation, shipment tracking, customer communication, and invoice generation
• Receive and verify purchase orders against quotes to ensure accuracy
• Enter and maintain customer orders within Sage 50 and other internal systems
• Prepare customer quotes and assist with order fulfillment activities
• Issue purchase orders and monitor acknowledgements, ship dates, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, and shipment schedules
• Provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders regarding order status and delivery schedules
• Maintain customer records, order documentation, and reporting spreadsheets
• Process invoices and support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Monitor accounts receivable, collections activity, and past-due account follow-up
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with sales, operations, warehouse, and office staff to ensure a positive customer experience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, logistics coordination, sales order processing, inside sales support, or account coordination

Required Skills

• Experience processing purchase orders, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions
• Experience with Sage 50 required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
