Job summary

Earth Fare Athens is seeking a part-time Customer Service Lead (Bookkeeper) to greet customers, operate the POS, handle various payments, and ensure accurate cash handling. The role also involves supporting promotions, packing, and maintaining product knowledge of natural and organic items.

The position offers flexible scheduling and benefits access, with opportunities to train cashiers and balance daily cash office paperwork.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Earth Fare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, address their needs, and answer questions about products and store policies.
• Efficiently operate the POS system to process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Handle various forms of payment including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments.
• Ensure items are bagged properly, using environmentally friendly practices.
