Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) is hiring for a Customer Service, Landside role at Nashville International Airport. The role supports safety procedures and operates across rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Counsels ground transportation operators on the proper rules of operation.
  • Monitors and operates computerized transportation access equipment, including daily input and occasional repairs.
  • Patrols area for abnormal activities, including traffic and curbside problems, and reports discrepancies to the proper authority.
  • Performs random inspections of commercial ground transportation vehicles to ensure vehicle meets standards as specified in commercial ground transportation policy.
  • Controls the flow and parking of commercial vehicles on the ground transportation level.
  • Enforces airports commercial ground transportation policy.
  • Performs daily inspections of ground level comfort facilities and curbside area for safety hazards and maintenance issues.
  • Maintains daily event log to document discrepancies.
  • Takes administrative action against a driver/company in the absence of supervisory personnel.
  • Identifies environmental hazards and addresses in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
  • Follows all safety regulations.
  • Supports MNAA's commitment to its culture and values, including RI SE.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Must be available to work rotating A, Mid and B Shifts. Schedule will include weekends and holidays. Tuesdays and Wednesdays Regular Schedule Days Off.

A Shift 11 am to 7:30 pm

Mid Shift 11am to 7:30 pm

B Shift: 4:30 pm to 1:00 am

Hourly Range

$19.04 (Min.) - $25.91 (Mid.) - $32.77 (Max.)

  • Final pay offer will be based on relevant skills and experience to the position.
Job Summary

The Customer Service, Landside is responsible for assisting in the transfer of airport guests and enforcing the airport commercial ground transportation policy. Other responsibilities include providing information about the airport, the Nashville community, and various entertainment activities available to visitors.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Counsels ground transportation operators on the proper rules of operation.

  • Patrols area for abnormal activities, including traffic and curbside problems, and reports discrepancies to the proper authority.

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
