Job summary

The Terminal Operations Coordinator at Nashville International Airport (BNA) is responsible for the overall safety, security and efficiency of the curbside environment, the terminal building, airside shuttle operation and the air carrier ramp. This role reports events to the Airport Duty Manager and coordinates with customers and partners to keep the terminal complex operational.

Qualifications

• Office management knowledge and procedures.
• Airline and airport operations knowledge.
• Ability to read maps and interpret information.
• Ability to prepare and present written reports.
• Ability to supervise personnel and manage multiple projects.
• Understand rules, regulations, and lease agreements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day terminal and ramp resource allocation and scheduling for carriers.
• Inspects terminal facilities, airside shuttles, and curbside areas for safety and efficiency.
• Communicates with Ramp Control on gate conflicts and operation changes.
• Prepares planning documents for peak travel periods; coordinates construction and non-standard operations.
• Develops aircraft parking plans for de-icing and overnight ramp parking.
• Ensures operations during emergencies, diversions, and severe weather.
• Interacts with tenants, regulators, and partners to maintain smooth operations.
