Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Customer Service Intern to gain hands-on experience across functional areas within the company’s homebuilding and services operations.

You will participate in rotations, assist with research, reporting, and administrative tasks, and learn about the homebuying process while building professional skills. The internship emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and communication as you explore career paths at a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the assigned internship area such as business, technology, finance, construction, real estate, HR, marketing or operations.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, ask questions, and contribute in a professional team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team members and partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, or jobsite.
• Assist with department projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, and coordination.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, policies, safety requirements, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to support customer experience.
• Participate in trainings, rotations, and other learning opportunities.
• Explore future full-time employment opportunities following graduation.
• Perform duties in a professional, ethical manner and be willing to travel or overtime as needed.
