Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in New York. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure their needs are met across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, and Tools.

The role offers part-time hours with potential for growth and exposure to a broad range of home improvement products. Responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking, processing orders, and collaborating with team members to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to support customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department as needed (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
