Job summary

Dollar Tree in Gaithersburg, Maryland is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist with merchandising, and help customers. You will be cross-trained to assist at the cash register and switch to front-end duties as needed, while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for shoppers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting with/without accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely per productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and general presentation.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Manage sales transactions and operate assigned cash register.
• Protect cash and company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
