Job summary

U-Haul in Richardson, TX is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to greet customers, assist with rentals, and ensure a smooth experience. You will use U-Scan technology to manage inventory, help customers with questions, and educate them on products and services.

This role offers on-the-job training, promotion potential, and a fast-paced team environment. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, and certain certifications may be offered on employment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
