Job summary

U-Haul in New Hope, MN is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers, inspect and maintain equipment, and use smartphone-based technology to dispatch and return rentals.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Customer-focused and able to assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Comfort with using mobile devices to manage rentals and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers as needed.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certification offered upon employment).
• Work with the team on ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
