Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the face of our exceptional service, helping customers with products, services and equipment at our locations.

You will assist with rentals, inspections, setup, and education of customers on our offerings, with certifications offered on the job. The role includes dealing with inquiries and ensuring smooth operations on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work with customers inside and outside a U-Haul center.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
