Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center.

You will use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and inspect equipment on the lot. Additionally, you will prepare invoices, educate customers about products, install hitches, and handle propane and forklift tasks (certifications offered upon employment).

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and ability to educate customers on products and services.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with products and services.
• Use U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment and check fluid levels on the lot.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring where applicable.
• Handle propane fillings and forklift operation (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
