Job summary

Porters of Louisiana in Natchitoches, LA is seeking a reliable Customer Service Representative to support our dry-cleaning team. You will greet customers, process orders, and safely operate a company van for pick-up and delivery.

The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team; requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts are Monday through Saturday with store hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience required (retail, hospitality, or related field).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport items up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally and courteously.
• Receive, tag, and process incoming dry-cleaning and laundry orders accurately.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in person or by phone.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and work area.
• Safely operate the company van to pick up and deliver garments/items to and from the store.
• Load, transport, and unload customer items while ensuring accuracy and care.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
• Maintain accurate payments.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with additional shop duties as needed.
