Porter’s Cleaners in Shreveport, LA is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role focuses on greeting customers, logging garments, and ensuring accurate order details from drop-off to pickup, with care at every step.

You will handle phone inquiries, process payments at the POS, inspect garments for special care, and communicate clearly with customers. Punctuality, reliability, and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of filing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Punctual and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally.
• Receive, tag, and log garments for cleaning.
• Review orders with customers for accuracy.
• Answer calls and provide pricing/order status.
• Process payments and issue receipts with POS.
• Inspect garments for care needs and note on tickets.
• Handle complaints and escalate as needed.
• Keep front counter clean and organized.
• Assist with packaging completed orders and notifying customers.
• Perform basic opening and closing duties.
