Job summary

ShopRite of South Plainfield in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Customer Service/Courtesy Clerk to provide friendly customer service, scan and bag items, process payments, and answer inquiries. You will help maintain a clean, safe front-end and assist customers with a positive, efficient experience.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand/walk for extended shifts
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs and work with products
