Position: Full-time, Monday-Friday, various shifts.

Location: Hagerstown, MD Service Center.

Compensation: Starting at $20.42 per hour.

R+L Carriers is seeking a Customer Service Representative to maintain positive relationships with customers and assist in tracking and monitoring freight movement. The CSR will use customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and listened to, resolve their issues, and promote company goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Daily freight tracing with customers.
• Assisting other terminals with freight-related issues.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to deal with potentially stressful situations.
• General office and customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products.
• Typing speed of 30+ WPM.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Freight logistics experience.
