Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a part-time Pre Clerk to join our Baltimore, MD Service Center. Responsibilities include answering calls on a multi-line system, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. PTO available after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications include typing 30 WPM, multitasking, strong communication, and proficiency with Windows/Outlook. Prior clerk experience is preferred but not required.

Job description

Pre-Clerk PT, Starting at $18.76/hr

PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment and an excellent benefits package that includes our own employee resorts.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a PT Pre Clerk to work at our Baltimore, MD Service Center. Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may apply as requested by management.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well organized
• Must be computer literate
• Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role
• Freight logistics experience
