Job summary

Floor & Decor is hiring a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) in a customer-facing role. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, handle returns, and ensure a smooth checkout experience at the store.

The position emphasizes friendly, helpful service and adherence to safety processes, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available at multiple hours. Compensation starts at a base hourly rate with potential for higher starting pay depending on experience.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Knowledge of basic math skills.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes.
Process customers at checkout using the point of sale (POS) system.
Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
Open and close registers.
Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
Be able to create price tags and merchandise signs.
