Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) to greet customers, assist with projects, and handle checkout and returns. This role offers full-time and part-time positions with opportunities for advancement and a focus on exceptional customer service.

You'll be responsible for operating the POS system, processing refunds, and ensuring merchandise is accurately stocked and presented. This position emphasizes safety and adherence to company values.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills required.
• Experience in customer service.
• May travel to other stores for support.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite purchases.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Demonstrate and follow the company’s safety processes.
• Work in a way that aligns with Floor & Decor’s core values.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Handle refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Open and close registers and manage cash procedures.
• Answer the telephone per company guidelines.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
