Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) to be the first and final interaction for customers. You will greet customers, process transactions at checkout, handle returns, and contribute to an exceptional shopping experience.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Hourly base pay starts at $15.00 with higher starting pay based on experience. You’ll work in a retail environment, engage with customers about projects, and support store operations

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Potential travel to other stores for support.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Answer the telephone according to the company guidelines.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
• Be able to create price tags and merchandise signs.
