Customer Experience

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
• Processes transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and manages cash handling duties.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, takes inventory, and manages records.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional and seasonal setups, and completes resets as directed.
• Assists with food product separation and placement, following store policies (e.g., raw foods on bottom shelves).
• Manages stock rotation and restocking using FIFO method.
• Operates store systems and equipment effectively.
• Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
• Handles web pick-up responsibilities, including order monitoring, fulfillment, and delivery to customers.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
• Follows all company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
• Completes assigned tasks and special projects as required.

Training & Personal Development

• Attends training sessions and completes required PPLs as directed.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
