Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our La Verkin store and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, restock merchandise, and help maintain a clean store environment.

The role requires good customer service skills and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced retail setting. Part-time position with opportunities to grow in store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
