Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Brentwood, TN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the cash register, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation
• Other duties as assigned
