Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Tennessee is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle sales at the cash register, and keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
