Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and help maintain store cleanliness.

This role requires strong customer service, good communication, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and reliability. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; high school diploma preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors and waste removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
