Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find the right products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience in-store. You’ll engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and assist with locating merchandise.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for input/output tasks.
• 6 months experience using common retail tech (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
