Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Derby, KS to greet customers, help them find products and answer questions. You will spend much of your day listening to customers, guiding them through checkout, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

This role supports multiple departments, may involve stocking shelves, loading merchandise, and light manual tasks. A friendly attitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand for long periods are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and inputting, accessing, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use cash registers.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, delivering friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time fulfillment.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to enhance service delivery.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and complete other duties.
