Job summary

U-Haul in Ohio is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and help customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and product information. You will use U-Scan technology to manage inventory, assist with hookups, and handle invoices and returns daily.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with on‑site work and safety protocols. We offer extensive benefits and on‑the‑job training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; forklift operation may be certified later.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
