Job Description

The Customer Service Associate provides an exceptional customer experience and assists with the general upkeep of the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers throughout their shopping experience
• Maximize sales by suggesting products and up-selling when appropriate
• Remain knowledgeable of the store’s merchandise and current promotions
• Assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of the store; maintain store displays and merchandise
• Assist with inventory and receiving of merchandise
• Replenish backstock to maintain appropriate levels of merchandise on the floor
• Conduct markdowns of merchandise as instructed
• Perform opening/closing duties, including securing cash registers and store security
• Communicate customer complaints and inventory concerns to management in a timely manner
• If identified as a keyholder, additional responsibilities will be assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service experience
• Ability to multitask and resolve minor customer service conflicts
• Alcohol Beverage Awareness (TAM Card) may be required
• Additional security clearance may be required
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug testing may be required
