Part-Time Customer Service Associate

Position Type: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Hourly Pay Range: $11.50 - $15.00 per hour

Position Summary

Associa Minnesota is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional service to homeowners, board members, vendors, and internal team members. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and assists with administrative and office support functions. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for homeowners, board members, residents, and vendors.
  • Assist customers with account, billing, payment, and association-related questions.
  • Document customer interactions and ensure timely follow-up on requests.
  • Route inquiries to the appropriate departments and team members as needed.
  • Maintain and update homeowner, customer, and association records within company systems.
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail, and general office communications.
  • Scan, copy, file, and organize documents and records.
  • Assist with data entry and recordkeeping tasks as assigned.
  • Support community managers and office staff with administrative projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and association information.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional office environment.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of customer service, administrative support, call center, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
Working Conditions

  • Frequent interaction with homeowners, residents, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Extended periods of sitting, computer work, and telephone communication.
  • Occasional standing, filing, and lifting of office materials.
