Job summary

High Street Cannabis Group is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate in Boston, MA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, building rapport with customers and staff, and supporting store operations in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to work nights and weekends. Prior retail or cannabis experience is a plus, and the company emphasizes growth and ongoing

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Retail, cash handling and POS experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Experience in cannabis industry highly desirable, but not required.
  • Must be 21 years old and pass criminal background check.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match.
  • Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with our customers, vendors, service providers and staff.
  • Ensure customer concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently.
  • Communicate customers requests and/or problems to the Manager on duty when needed.
  • Communicate the effects of different variations and methods of cannabis consumption to customers clearly and effectively.
  • Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
  • Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping of the dispensary.
  • Assist in processing, replenishing and monitoring of merchandise.
  • Participate in inventory counts, as needed.
  • Perform data entry and manage the customer database.
  • Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
  • Maintain a current stock of educational materials for new customers, etc.
  • Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other related work as required.

Description

Role Summary: As a Customer Service Associate, you are detail oriented, friendly, a team player and an important part of the store's efficiency. We are looking for a long-term addition to our team that wants to grow in the cannabis industry. Previous customer service experience will be key in this position. Someone with a great eye for detail who is equally committed to the team and the overall success of the store. Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
