Overview

Walgreens is hiring for a customer service role. The base pay range is provided by Walgreens. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. This role will remain open until filled.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service on the assigned cash register.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with the team to maintain a high standard of service and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service and make appropriate product recommendations.
• Process transactions, returns, exchanges, voids, refunds, and rain checks as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; manage inventory and price merchandise as directed.
• Follow asset protection procedures to minimize loss and ensure compliance with state and local laws for regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with stock rotation and product placement, including handling of raw and prepared foods where applicable.
• Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment; support the photo area and related services when needed.
• Handle web pick-up responsibilities, monitor orders, fulfill items, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
• Support exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store clean, neat, and orderly; comply with company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

• Attend training and complete required PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior work experience with Walgreens (preferred).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is preferred; willingness to work flexible hours.
