Job summary

SkyWest Airlines in Natchez, Mississippi is seeking airport agents to provide outstanding passenger service, ticketing, rebooking, and boarding support. This role works outdoors in all weather and involves lifting luggage and handling a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold a HS Diploma or GED, possess a valid driver’s license, and can pass a background check and drug screening with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• This is a part-time position.
• $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Minimum Requirements

• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
