Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is hiring for a part-time Airport Agent in California. Responsibilities include ticketing, boarding, baggage handling, and assisting passengers, with outdoor work in all weather conditions. Requires 18+, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, and ability to pass background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexibility to work split shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time position starting at $16.90 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off of the aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, and rebook passengers all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
