Job summary

Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a Customer Service Support Specialist to handle the retail storefront and answer the telephone switchboard. The role supports the regional office team with administrative duties serving internal and external customers and prospective clients.

Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, basic computer literacy, and a commitment to accurate recordkeeping and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year customer service experience dealing with customers via telephone and in-person.
• Proficiency: Proficient in general computer operations with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Provides administrative support, which includes but not limited to handling incoming faxes, reporting, maintaining database, member correspondences, maintaining inventory supplies and marketing material, and orderly upkeep of retail store, supply closet and hospitality area.
