We are seeking a talented, motivated, and service-minded individual to join the Customer Service team as a Customer Service Account Manager in our Wilmington, MA location. Smyth brings our customers’ labels and packaging to life, creating a customer experience that is second to none, and enabling them to stand out over the competition. This is a full-time opportunity. Compensation will be based on skills, experience, and qualifications brought to Smyth.

Key Responsibilities for Customer Service Account Manager:
  1. Provide communication and analysis in support of external customers, sales representatives, and internal manufacturing co-workers.
  2. Serve as a Smyth resource for customer’s creative, marketing, and engineering teams, as well as third parties (e.g., creative agencies, contract packagers).
  3. Assist customers with product specification development by providing information and samples, facilitating trial runs, etc.
  4. Oversee new projects from concept to completion, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
  5. Prepare and maintain documentation for the Customer Service Department.
  6. Collaborate with teams to support quality customer service for internal and external clients.
  7. Conduct project postmortems to identify successes and areas for improvement, communicating results effectively.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects, meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Independent judgment, proactive thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Education, Experience, and Credentials:
  • Bachelor's degree in a customer service-related field and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience in the printing industry in a project/account management role.
  • Customer-focused background.
  • Experience managing product specifications and full supply chain servicing.
