Capital Management Services, LP (CMS) seeks a Customer Service / 1st Party Collections Representative in Amherst, NY. The position is in-office with future work-from-home opportunities, offering a starting pay of $19 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

You'll work with current customers 2–90 days behind on credit card payments, focusing on empathetic, professional solutions rather than debt collection. Includes paid training and advancement potential.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Strong customer service experience in retail, hospitality, call center, financial services, or similar.
• 1st party collections, financial services, or debt resolution experience preferred.
• Must work in-office in Amherst, NY 14221.

Responsibilities

• Contact current customers regarding recently missed credit card payments.
• Assist customers in understanding options to resolve past-due balances.
• Provide professional, respectful, and solutions-focused service.
• Handle outbound and inbound calls.
• Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently.
• Accurately document account activity and interactions.
• Maintain compliance with client, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Represent CMS and banking partner professionally during interactions.
