Job Summary
The CSA is responsible for ensuring effective sales order management, export/domestic logistics coordination, and export/domestic documentation. Responsible for initial order entry, facilitation of order changes and order fulfillment. Coordinates with logistics providers to export/domestic product timely and prepare accurate export documentation. Leads resolution of service issues that directly impact customer order fulfillment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
The primary function of this position is to serve as the single point of contact for sales and customers to provide consistent, positive customer experiences. This will be done by:
- Receive and process customer purchase orders, ensure orders are accurate in compliance.
- Promptly enter orders received from customers or sales.
- Confirm operating margin meets established criteria.
- Check & verify customer credit terms.
- Verify & confirm customer orders and delivery expectations.
- Maintain close communication with Sales and Operations
- Track orders with purchasing department to ensure timely shipment and advise of any delays.
- Coordinate logistics (inland, ocean, air freight) with purchasing department for 3rd party POs
- Prepare export documentation and regulatory reporting.
- Issues invoices, shipper's letter of instructions, packing lists, certificate of origin and IMO.
- Advise customers of shipping details and document courier packages.
- Work with management to resolve any shipping or documentation issues.
- Submit any DEA, TSCA 12(b), or Export License approval requests and reporting.
- Build and sustain long-term customers’ freight, service providers.
- Create mutually beneficial relationships with customers through establishment of rapport coupled with responsiveness to customer needs (return messages, timely follow-through).
- Maintain up-to-date information on customers (contacts, products, requirements)
- Fulfill customer expectations with realistic commitments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with preference for concentration in supply chain/logistics, international trade, or economics
- Business experience, with preference for up to 3+ years in global / international trade operations, including responsibility for import and/or export for North America locations.
- Experience in customer, freight forwarding, customs brokerage and export trading.
- Prior experience with ITAR/EAR and delivery incoterms a plus
- Bilingual (Vietnamese /English) proficiency preferred.
