Job summary

Fischer Homes is seeking a Customer Relations Coordinator to support the Warranty Department. The role focuses on fielding calls and questions about customers’ warranties while ensuring accurate data handling and timely service order processing.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be capable of entering data daily in a fast-paced homebuilding environment. This is an on-site role at our Erlanger, KY location.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in the homebuilding industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, both internal and external.
  • Answer incoming calls on the primary customer service line.
  • Sort and issue appropriate service orders daily from incoming calls, letters, or emails.
  • Issue appropriate service vendor work orders for Initial and Final Warranty requests.
  • Process Home Orientation walk-through lists and create backorder/weather permit services as needed.
  • Mail waterproofing files to homeowners after closing.
  • Create and update Mechanical Information Sheets for new communities and print as required.
  • Upload files and relevant information to the Homeowners Website and respond to customer emails.

Job Summary

As a Customer Relations Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of the Warranty Department, fielding calls and questions regarding customers' warranty on their Fischer home. If you enjoy customer interaction and have a passion for helping others, you will find success in this role.

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiently enter data on a daily basis
Skills used to:
  • Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, both internal and external.
  • Answer incoming calls on the primary customer service line.
  • Sort and issue appropriate service orders daily from incoming calls, miscellaneous letters, or emails.
  • Issue appropriate service vendor work orders for all Initial Warranty and Final Warranty requests.
  • Process Home Orientation walk-through lists, and creates backorder and weather permit services, as necessary.
  • Mail respective waterproofing files to the homeowner once the home has closed.
  • Create and update the new Mechanical Information Sheets for new communities and print them out as needed.
  • Upload files and all applicable information to the Homeowners Website. Responds to emails submitted through the website from customers, as needed.
  • Retrieve emergency call information from the answering service each day and forward the information to the appropriate Associate.
Preferred Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of Customer Service experience
  • Experience working in the homebuilding industry
Physical demands and work environment
  • Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
  • Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
