Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer in Hamilton, OH to support production quality and drive improvements. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations to ensure products meet stringent quality standards and customer expectations.

The role requires experience with core quality tools and customer-facing problem solving, with the aim of delivering robust corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience interfacing with customers to drive improvements.
• Experience solving quality problems using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Six Sigma).
• Solid familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF16949 standards.
• Knowledge of Core Tools (SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, PPAP).
• Proficiency with statistical software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supports production and drives quality activities in the facility.
• Coordinates with Engineering to correct/improve products and processes.
• Leads root cause analysis and implements corrective actions.
• Manages PPAP and Safe Launch plans for new programs.
• Interacts with customers to resolve quality issues and monitor satisfaction.
• Performs internal audits to ensure conformity to specifications.
