Job summary

Aperia Technologies Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to act as the primary technical liaison between manufacturing facilities and OEM customers. You will investigate concerns, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer quality requirements.

You will lead 8D investigations, coordinate APQP/PPAP submissions, and develop PFMEA/Control Plans while monitoring key quality metrics and training the team on quality processes.

Qualifications

• Experience as CQE or similar in manufacturing or automotive.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with APQP and PPAP processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for OEM customer quality tasks and review data with customers.
• Lead 8D investigations and corrective actions within the factory for customer issues using structured methods.
• Coordinate APQP and PPAP submissions to customers.
• Create and maintain PFMEA and Control Plans for products.
• Monitor customer-specific quality metrics including PPM and disruptions.
• Support manufacturing process improvements to ensure high quality outputs.
• Author and execute CARs/SCARs to resolve issues.
• Analyze data with Excel/Minitab and present findings to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Create working documents and train the quality and manufacturing teams.
