Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer in Dayton, OH to drive customer satisfaction by managing complaints and coordinating cross‑functional responses on site.

You will train teams on 8D reporting, analyze data, maintain customer scorecards, and ensure products meet requirements. 1–3 years of manufacturing quality experience and a STEM degree are preferred, with IATF core tools and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Prefer experience in Quality, Manufacturing or Production in automotive glass.
• Training in quality tools and lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at their site and gather information to determine if the product meets requirements.
• Classify customer complaints into specific quality defects per internal standards.
• Issue quality alerts and coordinate containment, drive countermeasures and root cause analysis.
• Follow up on countermeasures and verify effectiveness before closing complaints.
• Create and analyze reports (weekly, monthly, special) on customer complaints and performance.
• Record customer complaints and third‑party sorting activities and support customer satisfaction.
