Zusammenfassung

Renesas is seeking a Customer Product Assurance Engineer to act as the primary quality interface for AI datacenter customers on the HDP Modules. You will collaborate cross-functionally to manage qualification activities, escalations, and reliability programs across design, reliability, and supplier quality teams.

You will drive root cause analysis, CAPA actions, and reliability data reporting while building strong relationships with customers and internal partners to enable smooth product ramps

Qualifikationen

• 7–12+ years of experience in the semiconductor or power electronics industry, with direct customer-facing quality or applications engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience qualifying power modules, power semiconductors, or PCB assemblies for AI/datacenter/high‑performance computing applications.
• Proficiency with 8D, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies for issue containment and corrective action.
• Familiarity with Design for Reliability (DfR) principles, qualification test methods (HTOL, PCT, TC), and reliability data interpretation.
• Experience with PCB assembly processes including SMT, component selection, and manufacturing quality controls.
• Experience with FMEAs, CAPA processes, and supplier or process audits.
• Ability to analyze and communicate quality metrics—defect rates, yield trends, return data—to technical and executive audiences.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary quality liaison to AI datacenter and hyperscaler customers, building trusted QA relationships.
• Lead and coordinate customer qualification activities for new AI power module products to ensure ramp readiness.
• Communicate proactively with customers throughout the development and qualification lifecycle, managing expectations and issues.
• Translate customer quality requirements into inputs for internal design, reliability, and supplier quality teams.
• Own end-to-end resolution of customer quality escalations with cross-functional teams using structured methodologies.
• Manage field returns and customer complaints; analyze data to identify trends and CAPA opportunities.
• Drive closure of CAPAs and verify solutions before communicating resolutions to customers.
• Provide regular quality performance reports to stakeholders and customers.
