Job summary

Luxfer MEL Technologies is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to coordinate across departments, expediting orders and delivering accurate quotations. You will help monitor open orders, communicate with customers, and support sales with forecasting and development efforts.

The role emphasizes strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork; product area includes magnesium and zirconium materials, with comprehensive benefits and an emphasis on customer-first service.

Qualifications

• High School degree required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or proven experience in a similar role is desired.
• Experience working in a customer facing Customer Service Administration department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system is desired.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system is desired.

Responsibilities

• Expedite customer Purchase Orders in line with company policies.
• Liaise with customers on incoming enquiries to ensure accurate and timely quotations.
• Support cross functional monitoring of open orders and provide relevant internal and external communications.
• An understanding of export control and regulatory requirements.
• Handle general enquiries and queries to provide relevant customer communications.
• Coordinate with Sales Team to support ongoing customer development and growth activities.
• Provide support to the Sales Team on monthly forecasting activities, including forecasted Purchase Order follow-up and monitoring Forecast consumption.
