Pavement Maintenance Group (PMG) is seeking a Customer Operations Specialist to deliver an outstanding customer experience while coordinating the processes that keep manufacturing and distribution moving. This full-time, nonexempt role suits someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing customer needs, orders, logistics, documentation, and multiple priorities.

The role collaborates with operations and sales to provide responsive support throughout the order and delivery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service, order management, operations, logistics, manufacturing support, supply chain, distribution, or related field preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and NetSuite; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers by phone, email, and other channels; process orders from entry to fulfillment and invoicing.
• Coordinate outbound freight, obtain quotes, schedule deliveries, and track orders with carriers and internal teams.
• Support sales by gathering information for bids, coordinating with operations, finance, and safety to ensure timely submissions.
• Assist with inventory counts, data entry, and process improvements to keep orders moving efficiently.
