Job summary

CCL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the voice of the customer. The CSR coordinates external and internal communications for assigned customers, reviews forecasts, verifies and processes purchase orders, and shares order status with Operations and Sales.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to read specifications and write routine reports. An Associates degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and memos.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between customer, Sales and production to ensure products are produced and delivered as confirmed.
• Review customer purchase orders for specs, determine order type, pricing and terms.
• Enter orders into the computerized order system and monitor delivery commitments.
• Communicate with Operations and Sales about order status and delivery concerns.
• Enter Customer Complaint Reports for quality issues and maintain rework information.
• Provide information to customers and internal teams regarding order details and issues.
