Job summary

Spindrift is seeking a Customer Operations Manager to strengthen the operations of the Customer Operations team in a hybrid role based in Newton, MA. You will partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, IT, and external partners to resolve complex issues and implement scalable order-to-cash processes.

The role focuses on standardizing processes, improving training, and building team capability to enable growth and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Customer Operations, Order Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise managing complex order-to-cash processes within ERP/EDI systems.
• Experience with customer portals, logistics partners, and trading partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the department's operational subject matter expert for order management, inventory, ERP, and EDI.
• Act as escalation point for complex order management, transportation, and accounting issues.
• Coach and onboard team members; build capability and standardize processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on ERP enhancements and onboarding of new customers.
• Identify root causes of issues; implement sustainable improvements and KPIs.
• Drive process improvements to improve customer experience and scalability.
